Many years ago, when I first had email, I was with Cable & Wireless and got a nice short email address. the server was mcmail.com. C & W sold out to another company and they told me the server was closing down, but I never changed anything and for the last 8 years, I've managed to keep using the same email address. Recently, my outlook has been saying "server not responding" and won't check the account. I can't check mail via www.mail2web.com either, which I used to be able to.
Maybe this is something to do with my Firewall setting (Norton). Or has the server finally shut down....
Any ideas?? I'd really like to keep this account active
Ps I dont get undeliverable mail messages if I send mail to that address
