Main stand removal, an option if it helps

I`ve been `making stuff` again but it`s been for the 1250 (stand locking lug). It doesn`t fit the 1200 (different stand) but the interesting thing might be the way I`ve removed the stand springs.

Firstly, if "we`ve already been there" then massive apologies and massive respect to whoever thought of it first

Otherwise I did find it a handy way and if it gives anyone else an option then Happy Days

And if anyone is interested this was what I did for the 1250 but as I said, the stands are different!

There is a bolt on my centre stand that once unscrewed releases the tension on the springs and the centre stand is then very easy to remove.
No need to do this on my 06 GSA.
