So ......... Now I've got that off me chest .......... who wants a fight!

So whatchya gonna do? Polish me to death? :D

I'm truely not worthy - I'm clearly a league 1 polisher :(

Respec! as they say on our helpdesk!

MOTOREX 645

Motad have been using this spray during final inspection of their exhausts for some years. Especially effective on black finishes, 645 shines and protects all metals. 645 significantly improves the looks and corrosion resistance of most metals whilst not harming leather or plastics. 645 outperforms the competing 'all-purpose sprays' because the silicone base of most sprays leaves an unsightly grey coating when heated. Motorex 645 is also recommended by Triumph Motorcycles for exhaust care.

10 hours of cleaning? TEN FECKIN HOURS!.......:bow

:jes:jes:jes:jes

:D

Yes ten fecking hours,:tears Wheels off, Calipers off, Pads out, Screen and winglets off. Exhaust and headers off. (I buffed the headers back to white chrome which lasted about 7 seconds after starting her up)
i must admit that I spent a lot longer than usual but it was one of those days where I had all day, the sun was warm on my back so I just kept going further and further. The end result is very satisfying.
Of course it's covered in dust and flies now. I'm off for a 6 day mini-tour of Scotland tomorrow covering another couple of thousand miles so it will probably have a million or so midges on it by the time I get back:blast

I used to be like that with my 1150GSA.....well I say like that..maybe half like that.......fours hours tops......every month with a weekly clean in between.
With the 12GSA, because it's done, this and that-scratch here, black tape there etc-it's loved but not as much as before.......:(

Enjoy......:thumb

Tunneruk, I'm probably a bit too local to start offering you a fight without doing some research first. Can you answer the following questions for me, please?

Have you ever been trained in unarmed combat with HM Forces, or any equivalent national army?
If so, have you ever served in Special Forces (SAS, SBS, US Navy Seals, etc)?
Have you ever received formal training in C&R, PCC, or equivalent?
Have you ever been convicted of GBH, manslaughter or murder?
Have you ever worked in a government department which requires you to keep your jacket on during even the hottest heatwave?
Have you ever been given any of the following nicknames: Knuckles; Scarface; Bruiser; Meathead?
Have you ever given a really nasty Chinese burn?
Is your neck wider than your head?

Let me know, and I'll see if I'm up for the fight. :thumb2

PS. Canterbury? By the sea??? Oh, please....

I use ACF 50 every four months or so and a quick spray of Scotoiler 365 after a wash. A can of ACF 50 goes a long way and works out ok cost wise. Although WD and GT85 are cheep and go on well, they dont actually stay on the bike too well where as ACF 50 does. I think it was designed for jump jets and helis on aircraft carriers _wonder how many tins for a Harrier ??

ACF50 does stay on even after washing, it also removes alloy corrosion to an extent and then protects the metal, other stuff tends to sit on the surface then wahs off with rain etc. It might look good n shiny when WD goes on but it doesn't hang around too long

Use ACF50 every so often during the winter, but F360 whenever it gets covered in shite. Not quite sure how well it works, as bits still rust.

Made me smile, thanks:thumb2

ACF 50 great stuff, spray and brush, smells great when burning off and scares the crap out of the person sitting next to you at the lights as the smoke rises of the cylinder heads. :)

The nice chaps at BMW do the annual clean for me at the same time as the annual service.... Other than that, it gets 'washed' in the rain!

F*** me - 10 hours cleaning a frikking bike ! Must be one 'ell of a monster of a wife to be avoiding...:rob

My answer to all of these questions is no, However I have been known to scowl at people when I've got my dark visor on. Seriously you really don't want to mess with me :o

Ok I live in Tankerton not Canterbury. (profile change to follow)

It's all relative. It was a hot sunny day so it was more like 20 minutes cleaning ............ bottle of beer ...............20 minutes cleaning ............... bottle of beer ................. and so the day went on!
