I picked my new (to me) F800 on Thursday. took it out for a couple of hours last night (wood head/snake circular via Glossop) and loved every minute of it
funny story here. my brother, a GSA rider, thought I had taken leave of my senses when I told him I was trading in my GSA for an 800. Well I was just pottering around in the garage earlier today when I spotted my bro pulling into my driveway riding a F800 demo bike.
With a knowing smirk on my smug face I enquired as to what he made of the bright orange machine. Very nice, was the reply. "I am just going to take it for a little bit of off roaring now" he said and off he went. within 2 hours I received the text confirming that the deal had been done and he picks his new F800GS up next Thursday.
Let me know if you fancy a rideout, I also have the F800gs and the Mrs F650GS Twin. We are in Sheffield also (Hillsborough).
