Hi chaps,
I have just taken delivery of my new Keihan downpipes for the Bumble. the previous owner fitted a stainless Y-piece to the standard front pipes, and as the standard front pipes are a smaller diameter the slotted ends of the Y-piece have been compressed to make them fit.
I now need to open these slotted ends in order for the new downpipes to fit. Has anyone got any ideas of the best way to do this? I have begun to use pliers to try to open things up but it looks like this could end in tears with badly bent bits.
Any assistance or advice, as usual, gratefully received. I was really hoping to get this old girl on the road again in coming weeks.
Thanks,
Matt
