I’m after some advice on a good place to stay in the Malaga area. We riding down there next June and will be spending four days there. We’ll be riding in the day, but would like some nightlife. Budget is a maximum of £50.00 per person per night, so no camping or hostels :beerjug:. Any recommendations?

I had a night at the malaga ibis this summer - very close to city centre and secure undergound parking.
Malaga itself is a great place for restaurants and bars and so much better than that tacky Marbella :thumb

If you do opt for here let me know as the car park, though right next door to hotel, is a bugger to find without local knowledge :thumb2

Very clean hotel with a 24hour cafe downstairs and only 5 mins from city centre

Consider Nerja
It's a good few years since I was there last so it may have been expanded and ruined but there was a nice old town which may be ok still and the beaches are great :nenau

Nerja is lovely, I try to go there for a couple of nights every year. If you want to ride in the day go out early as it will be 40ish after midday.

If you're looking for nightlife I'd stay in Torremolinos. I know that very well because it's where I always spend my holidays.

I stayed at El Capistrano at Nerja, was great.

I've stayed at La Calera in Teba a couple of times - it's a series of self-catering apartments, and the base for www.bmwmotohire.com - really good. Depending on the size of your group, it might not be big enough for you - but if that's the case I'm sure Mark there will probably be able to recommend somewhere that would suit you
