Just an update and apologies if this has been mentioned but the newer mapsource is available.

* Fixed an issue with the file save dialog when the file extension field is hidden.
* Fixed an issue where MapSource would crash if the route avoidance dialog would be displayed twice.
* Fixed waypoint category filter issue. Now only waypoints of the selected category will be displayed.
* Fixed waypoint prefixes.
* Fixed an issue where MapSource would crash with certain address searches.
* Fixed memory leaks in the waypoint dialog and map rendering.
* Fixed an issue with saving gpx files when the file path contains Asian characters.

Doing some forward planning for a few trips I am beginning to see some weird routes. Dunno whether this is caused by the new Mapsource or the Lifetime maps
Leaving my house heading for the autoroute is really simple, straight through the centre of the village, for some reason it has just chosen a route that goes all around the village Never done that before in anything since V6 and whatever was the current Mapsource at the time.
Another example was a destination in the Dordogne, it went miles out of the way and added 20 mins to the journey time
I finetune all my routes using Michelin maps so the GPS is really a storage tool for me which is just as well if it is sending me around the houses!

I've just installed it and when it launches, tells me there's a problem with Topo Great Britain V2.

When I try to run/install Topo, nothing happens. I'll try uninstalling & reinstalling it and see what happens.

This is a problem (or similar) that I've seen before with 3rd party Maps. When Mapsource is upgraded they don't always work unless the original Map data is recompiled (by the map producaer) with the latest software for the updated Mapsource. I suppose this would depend on the changes made in Mapsource, sometimes the maps may continue work with minor upgrades.

For example, I wanted to use some free maps of Thailand, they wouldn't work with 6.15.3, I had to roll back to a version of Mapsource from over a year ago before I could use them.

It may be worthwhile checking the providers website regularly to see if they issue any updates.
