New System Software Update Available

V1.04 has just been released in the UK and is available to download. The update includes an altitude display option, the ability to bluetooth routes between CRNs (Very useful), the ability to import routes with waypoints and edit them (Probably the most useful),mapping and stability improvements.

Road names and numbers are also a bit larger, so easier to see. A number of maps have also been updated.

Cheers, I haven't had chance to try it on the road today. Good to hear that the road names/numbers are bigger.

Seems there are some big updates with the maps also. Mines been downloading overnight and still at it. Make sure you’re not connected to your phone when you do it. Seems it takes longer and throws a wobble.

Blimey! Mine took about an hour. Maybe my phone wasn't connected? I'm also reading that volume control for devices has been returned to the wonder wheel, which makes much more sense. Once I completed the system update, I got a notification saying that my Southern England maps required an update. It was under 500MB but after about three hours, I gave up. I miss Garmin Express!!

Installing outside B&Q….tethered to iPhone…..which I’m now regretting….

Install took 2 mins…..’checking’ is a good 7mins now….and about 65% along the progress bar….

9mins checking. Restarted ok…

New features:
Altitude indication
GPX routes (rte) can be imported as waypoints and edited
Map layout and styling have been optimised
Routes exchanged between connected ride nav’s.

I thought these were all with 1.0.4 ?!
