MapSource and a choice of Ferries

Being new to this malarky:

I want to go to Ireland from Troon (Belfast). Mapsource is forcing the route to Cairnryan (Larne). How do I correct it?

Add a waypoint or via point near to the ferry terminal that you want to use eg

Belfast ferry
Belfast/Seacat and Iom Steam Packet
N54 36.278 W5 55.264

I always have problems with Mapsource and sea crossings.

I've found it easier to split the route into two, one route the the ferry terminal here and then another starting at the ferry terminal over there.

You don't really need to navigate when your on the ferry any way

Same here, two separate routes is the best way IME.

I have odd moments of lucidity, but they don't last long
