Mapsource and POI's

Ok then how do I get POI's from a csv file into Mapsource? I know I can load them onto my GPS but I want to see them in Mapsource.

ring garmin support. 0808 2380000 - they will definately be able to help you with making sure the record structure is correct. (i.e. the columns are in the right order to then change the file name from .xls (spreadsheet) to whatever the upload file extension is in mapsource )

You might find the online version of GPS Babel useful for this conversion, probably best to convert into GPX format which Mapsource can read.

search for programme gpxtopoi the version i use is 1.1.8..this will convert your .csv to gpx that can be seen in mapsource
