Mapsource -Intuitive...not

Wow!

After using other mapping software this City Navigator on my 550 is going to take some getting used to!

All I want is to right click and set a start point and an end point, let the system calculate the route and then customise the route using click and drag.

Seems to me somebody has invented the wheel so the next guy who comes along can't invent a round one cos thats been done, so he invents an octagonal one!!

On the unit? or on the Computer?

Mapsource is the name of the computer program that makes doing that kind of thing easy... (or easy if you are used to Garmin programs... which are definitely not totally windows-centric)

Doing route planning on the GPS is not using Mapsource... and is different on each Garmin GPS, and I never do it so can't help you there...
