Mapsource & Windows Vista

I have a Garmin 2720 and have loaded the software onto my PC (Windows Visat). I can create routes etc OK using mapsource, but when I tried to download the route for tomorrows snow run off this website, I keep getting as message saying that mapsource cannot read from the "registry" and that I should re-start mapsource as an administrator. I have tried doing this but with no success.
Has anyone got any suggestions please?

I suspect that you're not running the latest version of Mapsource and that a quick update will cure the problem.....

No specific answer but a couple of suggestions....

What version of MapSource are you running?....regular updates are a good idea ;-)
Check for the latest update to MapSource:

MapSource software version 6.13.6 as of December 4, 2007

Vista compatible......Garmin says so:

WARNING: This software will not work unless you already own a MapSource product.
This version of MapSource no longer supports Windows 98, Windows Me, and Windows NT.
Works with Windows Vista.

Try a Google search on:
mapsource cannot read from the registry

....the answer may be in one of the links that come up.
