March Devon and Cornwall Rideout?

I am surprised the Bunster hasn't piped up by now

It would be a good chance for her to do the Fruit Fly Bun tour of South Devon :D:D

Thought I had better get in before the 50th post and you all leave!

I am up for a ride out, is Jaspers easy to find? If not keep your eyes open for a Yellow 1200 going round looking confused :D

Captain Jaspers is a well known biker hangout on the Barbican, Plymouth.

I might be available for this one, totally depends on weather on the day :rob

It will be great weather Proff "The Devil looks After His Own" as they say :D We both look forward to seeing you if you can make it. :thumb2

Just an idea:

Jaspers is not the best place to meet given that it can get quite busy, access isn't great and the one-way system requires a circuit of the Hoe to get out of Plymouth.

It might be better to meet at Sainsbury's, Marsh Mills.

It's hard to miss (for those who don't know the area), there's fuel (for those who need to top-up, buns and coffee.

You can get out onto the A374 Embankment Road, then get to the A379 via Heles Terrace (if your intention is still the South Hams).

Just a word of advice, on any decent Sunday, the A379, particularly between Plymouth and Kingsbridge is used by the local 'knee-slider and Rossi Replica' brigade. If you notice "Think Bike" and "Biker in your blindspot" signs, they're there for a reason.

Have a nice day.

I find the bikers at Jaspers very unfriendly at the best of times - no one speaks to you or even acknowledges you - I turned up for a drink the other day and I'm sure I heard someone comment negatively about my GS! So maybe a group of GSers would make a presence! Jaspers at 10am would be OK, not to busy and you don't have to ride around the hoe to get out. Having said all that Sainsburys is a good suggestion, it's right on the A38 which is accessible to all areas, they sell super unleaded to make your bike go faster too :tarka

For those coming up from Cornwall, I intend to stop at the car park Plymouth side of the Tamar Bridge (where the loos are) at about 9.40 am -9.45 am for anyone who doesn't know where Jaspers is.

You can't miss yellow she is fairly obvious.

We are actually comin out from the South Hams area simply to ride back again with you all, where we meet up is of no odds to myself since I will just be takin in the views on this one :augie:D
