I’m a great believer in credit where credit’s due so please bear with me for another unashamed plug for Mark Hooton.
As a consequence of a knackered timing cover thread I’ve recently lost one of my TC GSA’s bash plate securing bolts.Repairing the thread was beyond my limited mechanical abilities so I visited Mark at his new bike servicing unit to see if he could do the job for me as he’s helped me several times in the past with various things including custom parts for my ’79 Triumph T160 Trident,He couldn't have been more helpful,I subsequently dropped the bike off at 3pm by 5pm the job was done, the cost of this outstanding service,a bottle red wine!
His new fully equipped venture offers bike servicing, tyre changing ( coming soon),diagnostics including service reminder resetting,ACF 50 application,TIG/MIG welding, repairs and his own parts fitting service.
He still offers his superb quality parts, including his latest project,an S1000 lowering kit along with full design and fabrication facilities from his other two units, which are equipped with eye wateringly expensive and impressive looking gear such as laser profilers and CNC pressbrakes.
Anyway, the point that I’m getting at is its really refreshing to find an enthusiastic, skilful bloke like Mark will go the extra mile to help and offer a very high standard of service to select customers at a fair price.
