Mark (ikkje), plus my Brother - wee trip to Borders and Wales

Some good lines there Mark, but then I'm guessing you know that road too. (y)

Martin, is that the B4418 to Nantlle? I have wandered the Ridge but not been on the bike. Looks awesome.

Where is the deserted village? Thanks

It is indeed the B4418 👍

The "Deserted village" is no longer deserted! It's now the Nant Gwyrtheyrn centre...

You can ride right down to it. There's a great cafe too

Found this pic of Nant Gwrtheyrn online from 1972 - it used to be all deserted. We played here as small children. The road was almost impassable then for vehicles, but it's all tarmac now :)

Pretty cottages now - I believe you can rent them.../

Failed to spot your comment on this one John, but in answer to your question, no, I’d never ridden that road before. Just lucky Martin caught me when i was actually firing on most of my cylinders 🤔 Hope you’re both well.

I stand corrected, (or at least I’m correcting myself!) Re-watched it and realised that bit of road was Bellingham to Chollerford in Northumberland and so I do know it 🤔

Hope you enjoy!

I took the Stelvio

Yep, enjoyed that. Welsh scenery and roads looking spectacular in the sunshine

There's a coincidence, got a few days based near Bellingham next month. Not a part of the world that I know well but I'm looking forward to the trip even more now.
