Maroco winter blast

Just booked the fly to Maroco in early January.
7 days short winter trip to kick start the year and have a bit of fun on the hired bike... whatever will be available, 300ccGS or pizza bike 125cc doesn't matter ...

I'm planning to do Trans Maroco trail or some sections and some old Dakar Rally tracks .

looking for advice on where to go or maybe place to stay for the night.
Maybe there is a good rental company that was used by someone?

Trip rapport will follow .
This is my second time visiting Maroco.
I didn't see much on the previous occasion.

In terms of rental, speak to Pieter at Bikers Home in Ouarzazate.

If he can't rent you a bike, he will offer great advice.

This was one of the best things I've done for a very long time .

Bikes hired from OX bikers Marakesh. (M2R)
Total cost 550Euro for 7Days
Tools ,insurance included. Very friendly and professional approach ,bikes well prepared with new tyres.
Next time I would prapobly take DR650 to get a bit more comfy during long days .

We decided to complete part of the TMT Trans Morocco Trail.

Starting from Marakesh to Zagora (this is where adventure started ).
Plenty of offroad sections from 30KM to 120KM long
Daily average 150-200KM this is enough to keep you busy for 8H

Most of the sections would be good for big bikes but some are very difficult even on the 250CC Yamaha XT.

You can experience all kinds of terrain rock ,mud ,sand ,gravel,dry river beads,deep sand and all above together.
the biggest fun was riding in the desert at night after underestimated travel time... 60Km offroad section 4H
