I know this is very "off topic" for GSers but its just another "nail in the coffin" for bikers in general ,
The Mas du clos is a private track owned by a multi millionaire 10km from here in the creuse region of france http://www.masduclos.fr which has had a very up / down relaitionship with the french authorities over the past few years. For the last year it has been open to provide track days to bilkers and sports car owners from all over the world , and has provided trade for many local buisnesses, hotels and restaurants. Now the local prefecture and mayor seem to have found a way to close it again as it does not come up to the latest standards required for a "race track". It is not used as a race track but as a place to hone ones driving skills legally on bikes and cars and will be a very sad loss for the area , what next ? a ban on off roading in the area too ?

which anyone can just click on and sign, to show the people in power that there is a need for this type of venue in this area , it probably willl not make any difference, but for any "tossers " who could sign it would add to the list of people who like practicing what are viewed locally as unconventional motor sports
