Max width of 800GS

Hi Guys,

A mate of mine is considering either a 12GS or 800GS and borrowed my 1200 today, only was it wont fit up the side of his house, which is a deal breaker for him.
He's now looking more closely at the 800GS.... can anyone tell the max width of the 800 or indeed if it's narower than the 1200GS?

My 12 is 2007 vintage...

As mentioned above the, F8 width is 945mm to mirrors. compared to the 12's 953mm

But ............................... on the F8 loosen your Mirrors and you get 860mm to the bar ends not sure on the 12
