Isle Of Skye Tartan

Excellent choice :thumb Fully endorsed by the kilted McClog :D

does that mean we are a clan now?

Aye. We could call oor Clan tartan the Gert It Reich Up You tartan :

:oonyack

:thumb2 Gert it Reich up you (see post 61 :D )

I won't be able to look at/wear my kilt again without thinking of Gert, which is no bad thing.

This tartan will now forever be known by me as the Gert It Reich Up You tartan and I shall wear it with even more pride now.

I was also having a laugh earlier at the memory of a conversation that I had with Gert early this year about him maybe joining us on our Hinterstaedtelfest trip to Germany. Gert said that he'd like that and that he'd also maybe be able to get his Dad's bike back :D

Looking forward to toasting the man at the "Gert It Down Your Neck" night :beerjug:

do you realise how close to the wind youare sailing :augie

Just for your info, some of Gert's biking friends have organised a celebration of his life and their respect for him at an event whcih is being called "Gert it doon your neck".

You might not approve of the title but people who matter do, so that'll do for me :beerjug:

Edit: no disrespect meant by "people who matter"

Hi Kisimul.

Is that the Armadale not a million miles away from me? If so, give me a shout if you want to go for a wander round some time.

Regarding Ronno and his 'Gert' comment, it's cool. Gert was a very good friend to many on here and would approve of the sentiment behind it.:thumb2
