Media player.

Morning, wonder if you can help with a probem?

Well I was trying to watch Paul Youngs GSing on the mountain on my media player and it started to load ok. Then the action started and it ran for about 3/4 of the length and then stopped, I got a message telling me the computer couldn't find the specified file
and it shut down the film.

Xp pro with broadband.

Greatly appreciate any suggestions.

I know that on other forums, large movie files get split into a series of sequenced files to help up/downloading. Sounds like the server could not handle your "view" request to find one of the series and bombed. It might have been busy. Try again and see if the same thing happens.
I just played it OK, except that it looked like a Easy Rider on acid. Blue, green, red, yellow and turquoise. Cool. PB

Thinking about it, it was Sunday evening. Not the *best* time to attempt it.
Will try at stupid oclock next time and see what happens.

A tip

If you Right Click save target as, you can save the file on your pc which negates the issue of it droppping out while playing.

Then just double click it.

Wouldn't do this with unknown sorces but the mountain vid was wicked.
