Cheers Muddy.

Missing y'all!

Great to see you guys running with the Maldon gathering, I'd miss it if it weren't for the best biking roads in the world along the Blue Ridge Parkway, The Smokies, North Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia. Just hit Kentucky today, but still emotionally attached to Maldon Hythe and the Queen's Head.

Lamble,

What are you riding ??

Colin.

As GS Adventure naturally. What did you think, I'd defected to the dark side and bought a Hardly?

OK, OK, whats going on. I saw a whole bunch of GS's going past my door tonight including that big mother - 1200 GSA - (mudplugger?) is there a secret society in Maldon that I don't know about? I couldn't see anything advertised here anywhere and I'm now starting to get paranoid about not being invited :(

HELLOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

Don't take it personally Martin, I didn't get an invite either. Not sure who it was, but nobody from here has owned up yet.

BTW, Is the next MAldon night 8th or 15th June? 8th is 2nd thursday, but 15th would suit me better.

If anyone is interested, I could put together a short rideout taking in a couple of easy fords, a short, easy offroad section and either the Burnham bends or the road out to Mersea. Set off about 7:30 and be back before dusk in time for a pint or two.

Let me know.

Next meet should be next Thurs 8th (2nd Thurs in the month). :thumb

Steve

I would be interested in this. Maybe start a bit earlier... say 7pm :nenau

Don't worry guys, I didn't get invited either. Must have been the Heybridge lot !!!!!

So as not to confuse everyone I think we should keep it to 2nd Thursday which will be the 8th. If you can still do a rideout Speggo that's great.

Cheers, Colin.

What's happening guys I turn my back for a few years and factions start appearing. The Heybridge lot!
When will Maldon ever get over the fact that the Swifts are a much better team than the Town. Tell whoever it's found out to be that the Maldon meet is Transatlantic and I'm recruiting like mad over here. I've just got a break away group of the Hell's Angels, called Hell's Lovers (all black, all Harley riders) to become associate members. Bumped into them in Texakoma at their club house. Thoroughly charming bunch of chaps, they've invited me and any of you lot to hook up with them next year at Sturgis.
Any takers?

Hey Tricky, have you got that scoot back on the road yet? I hope it wasn't too expensive. If you are going to Maldon give me a shout if you are coming past, if not hope to see you there. :)

Sorry to offend your sensibilities Lamble. That was humorously? aimed at Mudplugger. No factions here!!!

Colin.
P.S I knew it wouldn't be long before you were hankering after a Harley.

I've yet to be passed by one going in my direction. I think the heavy chrome and un-aerodynamic tassles may hold them back a tad.
I went in a Harley dealers to ask about a sat nav fix and they tried to sell me a ploughing attachment.
Plus, I'm not growing a pony tail for anyone!
No one appears to have seen a GS before "down these 'ere pards". Everyone waves, comes over to look, checks out why there's no front suspension and ask why am I there?
The answer is always, because it's on the way to where I'm going next.

Glad there are no cracks appearing in the Motherland GS family.
