Memory card

Hi All
I have deleted music of a 1g sd card but when i try to put new music on it says it is full ,i have gone into properties and it says there is no free space, is it posible to format sd cards
Any ideas i am new to computing

You need to iron it.

Sounds odd, but all the little iron filings are piled up too high on the disk for the new songs to embed, so you need to flatten them...there are several really really expensive and complicated ways of doing this, but the easiest is to turn your iron onto '9', remember to turn OFF the steam and press the card firmly with the iron.......2-3 minutes shgould do.

Turn the card over and repeat........then stick it back in the gadget, it won't show as being full anymore.

No...it's made of special plastic that's designed to be ironed up to 3000 times before it goes brittle.

You should be able to re-format it using the device you use it in. Look in the settings menu of whatever it came out of

Rub the contacts with a clean cloth to make sure they are all making good contact.

Try and format the card from Windoze Explorer.
