Im currently running a Crucial 512MB 184-pin DIMM DDR PC3200 CL=3 UNBUFFERED NON-ECC DDR400
I have a Crucial
512MB 184-pin DIMM DDR PC2100 64Meg x 64 UNBUFFERED NON-ECC DDR266
I personally wouldn't have thought so but give it a try its not going to blow your PC up, I think you may just get an error message or the PC won't recognise the second DIMM.

Nope... The PC3200 and PC2100 refer to the speed of the DIMM, although most motherboards support a variation of speeds (PC2700 and PC3200 for instance) they don't support mix and matches.
Whether they will work together may depend on your PC setup. Why not email Crucial and ask them? If you know the motherboard details that will help get a good answer. I found them very helpful and pretty quick to come back.
Or you could visit the Crucial.co.uk site with that PC and run their system analyser that will come up with all of the items they sell that are compatible.

Depends on what the speed of processor you are using is. The faster DDR400 ram will slow down, but the much older dimm will not like to be ran at the faster speed.
Don't yer love it when you tell someone to do something with their pc ... and then you don't hear from them ... and your too late to edit your post and put a disclaimer in...

Nothing to do with the memory, it worked fine, I would guess at the slower speed. Ive now sold that stick on fleabay for £23 and bought the proper stuff for £31 from ebuyer so now running 1Gb at 3200 DDR400
