Afternoon All,

What do you think of these? Anyone use them?

Looking for something to use on both my bike and car to disperse and dry water from all the nooks and crannies after washing. There are 2 models, one with 4hp motor and another with 8hp. The 8hp model seems a little unstable when using full power, but would probably suit my car better. I could then just switch it to the single 4hp motor to dry off the bike.

£200 for the smaller 4hp model and £315 (!!!) for the 8hp model.

Comments positive or negative please.

Thanks.

Leaf blower, £50 on Amazon, spend the rest on petrol. In autumn you can gain extra points by blowing leaves.

I have the smaller model and have had it a few years now. All I can say is that if it ever packed up I'd buy another one straight away. It's amazing where water hides after a wash. It isn't up to drying the car other than around windows, badges and light clusters. Not really up to drying off panel work. Yes an air line or leaf blower can disperse water after a wash but I'd go for the Air Blaster as it's more easily used. Check out dog grooming sites as they use similar devices also people showing cattle!

i have the 8hp model, wouldn't be without it.

Thanks Cement, is the 8hp too powerful so it falls over? Could I also do the car with it? Any drawbacks of the 8hp version?

Regards

it has wheels so won't fall over, will easily dry cars. it has a lot of puff on the second setting. The only draw back i could think of was the price new. Brought mine off ebay almost new.
