Mesh Summer Jackets.

I use the Revit Airwave. Both Jacket and Trousers with the added back/hip protection. Around £325 for the whole set up. It has a more "liberal" fit than a lot of what I tried which is good for my decidedly less athletic build lately. There is a new version the 'airwave 2' but I think the original is still available a a decent discount. I range from tech T-shirt and shorts back home upwards of 35 deg to wind-stopper fleece and jeans underneath (which was just a few weeks ago). And of course as has been discussed, a set of waterproofs makes the configuration incredibly versatile in lots of climates/conditions

I'll wear the jacket with my Rallye Pants as well depending on what I'm up to.

+1 for Rev It airflow jacket.

I bought a fluro yellow one a couple of years back. Have actually worn it a lot.....it gets warm behind a 1200 RT fairing/screen.

Just use a waterproof overjacket if needed.

Do a search, I did a bit of a write up when I first used it.

Blimey, what a price range, £49-£400. How do you choose, other than budget?

I can't see the point of a waterproof inner layer; surely the waterproof layer should be on the outside :blast

I've been looking at the Revit Airwave 2, which looks good and, as temperatures here are already mid 20s (smug mode), I will need one soon. Problem is, what size? Since moving here 3 months ago, I have lost 25lbs, which moves me from a 5XL to a 4XL and hope the progress continues. £325 for a suit that might be too large quite soon is a problem. Perhaps a £49 one to start with.....

Bollox, I hate making decisions!

You buy the 4XL and in a few months sell it to me.........I've given up hope on shrinking!!!

Seriously though, good gear tends to only last a few days in the for sale section, you won't be stuck with it.

I have the BWM airflow jacket, when wet wear a waterproof over it, when cooler wear a windproof jacket under it, when cold do both! It is the only jacket I use now as I tend not to ride when it's snowing:D. Cheers:beerjug:JohnB

Ive got a Rukka cosmic suit. anything above about 23 degrees and I'm sweating. I was looking at the BMW (twat) Rallye suit for this summer. Looks like it would be good for hot weather, or is that not the case?

Wow, that's great value. I need a grey/silver one to match a pair of BMW Airflow pants I bought off here this week.

I bought a pair of light grey BMW trousers from the sale Cotswold had - I don't understand why a black jacket is not suitable to wear with them. Please explain.

I've got a BMW Airflow jacket never worn with tags size 52
If it fits yours for £125

Ok....swap out the word "need" with the word "want"

It's just a personal preference. I wouldn't mind black if there was some grey panels in the design.
