Messed up my visor, Help

Hi Guys

Can anybody help. Decided to clean my new tinted visor off my sportintegral with Mr Sheen on the inside, bad mistake.
It seems to have attacked some sought of laquer coating and its all gone flakey.
Do i carry on and try to dissolve the coating till its all gone, looks like its not touching the actual visor material.
Anybody any idea's

There was a thread very similar to this a while back...ISTR that the conclusion was that the visor's actual surface was very soft and although it could be buffed up, it would scratch and mark very easily and it was better to replace it.

You could try using common or garden toothpaste to remove scratches but it may be youve removed a coating on the inside of the visor.

I have found out its a anti mist coating on the inside, so will try and remove it with a mild solvent as in mr bloody sheen
