Metal Mules on a 650 Dakar

I've found endless chat about the metal mule panniers and think they're the ones - i've never actually seen them but have seen the TT ones. Question though is will they work OK on a Dakar?

I mean, of course they'll work but will TT's fit better for example? Any experience of MM on a 650 would be much appreciated.
