Metal Mules & Varios

I fancy buying a set of Metal Mule panniers for my 1200 & all the mountings that go with them.

What price can I expect to pay for a new set?

I'm also planning to sell my Varios along with the mountings. What price can I realistically get for these? They're in v.good cond but I need a price to post on the 'For Sale' board. I don't want to ask a stupidly high price but then again I don't want to sell myself short.

Any help gratefully received.

If I remember correctly, a tosser has just been quoted £1,200.00 for a set of MMules and frames for a GS800 ..... hope your wallets well stocked!

Vario's will sell for around 400 on Ebay but more like 350 on here.

MM's pricing will depend the panniers you choose, the 'balance system' is the most expensive and could come in at around 1100. I have the exhaust for the balance system (but not the panniers) and I might be selling it soon as I am not sure if it will fit on my new bike so PM me if interested.

Metal Mule prices are on their website, didn't you look there?

Whoever buys your varios will need to get the locks done to their key. A set of varios panniers are about £540 list (typically £490 from a dealer), so if they are in pristine condition you might get £350.

I don't know what the situation is regarding whether you can transfer any remaining warranty to the new owner.

The "balanced" starts at £1430, including the exhaust
