After a metal top box and fittings for a 1150 gsa, any recommendations would be a help, not too ugly, easy to fit and able to take a lid would all be desirable.

Happy to pay a couple of hundred quid or thereabouts a bit more at a push, so not sure what i can get?

quick photo seeing as ive only had the bike 1 day, swapped from my 1200 gsa.

Lovely bike

Will do everything a 12GSA will do & now you're into zero depreciation

Enjoy it, I love riding mine

Topbox, just get the proper GSA one, they look really cool

Do you have the GSA panniers for it?

wow.....nice looking bike...why d'you go back from a 1200?

Marc

Couldnt justify the expense on the 1200 , i use the bike daily but dont do big miles, plus i was always worried about dropping it it seemed taller than the 1150.

Cheers JB, think i will go for the proper top box, no panniers came with the bike. Admittedly, It is not as smooth and quiet as the 1200 but its really good fun its quicker than i thought and handles and stops like a good un, more bang per buck !

ring or email Roger at ARDcases, for around your budget he will fabricate you a top box and mounting plate for your 1150GS :thumb

Fit a MRA screen to it, best you can buy for a GSA that'll make it better

Top tip - if you find some GSA panniers, you can use the right one as a top box too, it fits - so buy one, get one free :-0

check out vern from this site he makes really good boxes to the spec you want drop a pm and i will give you his num

cheers

I used to run Vern's on my GSA but since i replaced my bike, with another 1150 GSA, i've gone back to the original panniers/top box. They look the biz, though don't drop the bike with panniers on, and you can use the left side pannier as a large top box - with the added benefit that the exhaust cutout gives more room for a pillion to hold the grab rail. You'll get a helmet in either box as well.

I have original boxes on my GSA but I had trax set on my old GS recomended
and you don't have the framework on when not using them :thumb

I agree with Dazzle, especially as I'm riding his old GS. My helmet fits in the top box easily. Had no problems with the Trax equipment.
