Can anyone explain what the’variant’ B refers to related to the 150/70 R 69V .
Both this tyre and a normal version are available on ‘my tyres’ with a difference in price.
My understanding is that the variant B is a special for the F700GS and maybe a block pattern tread??
I have the Metzeler Torrance Next on the front and thought it best to stick to a pair of these. I have a puncture in the back one and l believe the tubeless tires are not repairable.
Thanks for any comments

The ‘B’ variant stands for Besser (better); meaning it was manufactured in the EU with better grip and wear profile.
The cheaper version is of Chinese manufacture, albeit under Metzler license which does not give the same performance.

Thanks for your reply. That’s interesting because the ‘B Variant’ is the cheapest of the two available?

Hi tubeless tyres are repairable just plug it done loads if the puncture Is in the centre or there abouts the plug will last till you need new tyre.👍
