I've seen that Metzeler Tourance NEXT tyres are available from January 2013.

I can't seem to find a retailer/distributor that sells the ones to fit an F650GS.

Sizes required:

140/80 R 17 M/C 69V
110/80 R 19 M/C 59V

Can anyone help..??

Not a huge help to you being up there, but cW in Dorchester just fitted some on my F800GS

Yes Tosser Saw I have done 800 miles on my
New Next tyres and I have to say there noticeably
Better than my old fav,s old style tourances
As you saw today I was enjoying them!

Maybe a little less on mud or gravel but
defo better on road grip and super in wet!
Just have to remain confident but not get Cocky
Lol

Good to hear they're good in the wet.....

Will try and order some - just need to find someone who sells "my size" :D

Hi all

According to Metzlers website, the ony tyre sizes to buy are

Front 110/80 R 19 M/C 59V TL, 120/70 R 19 M/C 60V TL

Rear 150/70 R 17 M/C 69V TL, 170/60 R 17 M/C 72V TL

PS: Still winther here in Denmark with frozen and salted roads

Looks a little TOO road biased for me. Why not go the whole hog and turn your F800 into a super moto ? :nenau Then you'll have the best wet and dry weather roadholding you can get. But you won't look like an 'Advechur bike rider' of course ;)

Mine Tourance EXP has now clock 10,000 miles and is still a few thousands to go. I'm a 95/5 user. With three boxes attach for my daily commuting to work. The wet handling is super. If it like the Motorrad test from the German's Magazine had said that the New Tourance NEXT is much more longevity then the EXP. I will definitely go the "NEXT"!!
