just changed bthe tyres on my 1150gs from sqared off old tourance to the new exp version,done 600 miles (trip out to holland) and ive got to say they are brilliant,totally transformed the bike,major thumbs up 
Tis funny that cos I'm not that keen on them.Thought they were good at first but after a thousand miles or so I find them fine in the dry but a bit skittish in the wet. Nowhere near as confidence inspiring as trail attacks or the old tourance 
Theres been reports that the front tyre has been known to crack on both sides after 6000 ish miles?,
Let us know if anyone out there as add the same problem?.

I had a front Tourance crack -not sure of the mileage -the tyre was on the bike when I bought it (so not sure of the history)but I did 4500 kms on it when I saw the cracks and changed it. I have put another Tourance on and am about to go on a run that will add another 3000kms to the 1000kms I have clocked up on it so will keep you posted.

I quite liked the death wings after going from a squared set of tyres, till it rained
Be interested to hear your thoughts on the mileage between the old and new Tourances.

sorry, i took the advice of the garage (pidcocks Long eaton) im probably impressed that i can roll around now 
the old one were very square
