spoke to both ins co and dealer both say same that a repair isn`t listed as a cat c,d or whatever. and will not show up on a hpi check, only a total write off, uneconmical to repair would be listed.

Hey Zoot - good news re your bike being repaired.

So where are Fizzer & Geordie then? They were adamant that all repairs would show up on an HPI check, despite being presented with evidence to the contrary (i.e. link to HPI website FAQ's).

My accident in Aug 2010 has just been settled fully in my favour. However, my wife who was pillion and had broken ribs is still waiting. They did offer 2k which inclues a £400 helmet and £200 jacket. We told them to "do one".
They take the piss with part 36 offers. It takes ages. No wonder these PI solicitors are raking it in.

THis seems harsh when I got 3.5k for a broken thumb (though it meant I couldnt write or drive for three months....in a plaster cast as the ligaments where damaged too...

come to renew ins today after the above, they sent me a quote through with 4 yrs ncb even though it`s not settled yet (unins loss -£350 excess)but 3rd party has owned up. so in less than a month bike repaired and ins renewed (£356.00) which is £100 less than last year. i can only go off my experience but C N came through for me top marks.
