Are your boxes waterproof?

The cases are water and dust proof. The door closure on the case has a U-channel that the door's 90 degree perimeter flange fits into. The inner portion of the U-channel has a high quality bulb seal that contacts the door and the perimeter flange. This creates an effective barrier to water and dust.

This design also makes for a very strong case with the doubling of material and the shaping required for this opening.

All panel edges are either welded or double flanged and riveted.

hi Chuck

Are the LED's mounted on the bike or the boxes? and if they are on the bike is their visibility and the backlight obscured by the boxes.

Have you tested them fully loaded? as they mount so far back it looks as if they may lighten the weight on the front wheel

and how much are you hoping to charge for the system?

We have concluded that the currently available LED turn signal solutions are not feasable due to visibility and viewing angle reasons. Therefore we include a very bright DOT/SAE approved turn signal replacements that are 3 inches wide.

With regard to environmental testing, yes we have completed a thorough series of tests related to weight, vibration, heat cycling, loads with varying speeds, water/dust prooofness, mounting/dismounting cycles, installation, door open/close cycles, etc.

We have orders for 18 sets and have shipped a majority of them.

My partner and I just concluded a great trip to Hyder, Alaska with our Pilot luggage. The luggage worked great under all conditions and we had a high interest factor by all motorcyclists when they saw the luggage in person, first hand.

Comments were glowingly positive and constructive. The cases look right on the GS and provide a very large convenient means to carry your gear.

Cost is US $1299 for the cases including the mounts. All components are either stainless, CNC 6061 billet aluminum that is anodized or 5052 aluminum for the case panels.

NO mild steel components exist in our system. We wanted first rate material and finishes for every component of our luggage system.
