"mice" auxiliary light switch wiring exposed

Just came back from a weekend in germany on the gsa when riding glanced over at the left switch gear and the shroud on the small harness going to the light switch has started to disintegrate quite badly, spoke to the dealer yesterday and they're going to take a look next Tuesday as the main left switch gear is messing about again too, when I showed the technician the pictures he said "mice' the bike shares the same garage as 3 other bikes I've never seen or had any signs of "mice" in the garage nor any other bike been eaten by mice in the last 10 yrs of keeping bikes in the garage, I've got pictures if anyone could help post them or anyone had a similar issue

Didnt think I had mice until they ate through a packet of fags I had under the seat on a previous bike
