The little sods have managed to get into the garage and ahave thus far munched through -

My wifes gloves
Trousers
Some of her helmet lining


But more importantly the collar of my BMW jacket! So I have had it repaired by The Zip Yard in Altrincham, they did a great job and replaced all the leather for less than £20. A sounf recommendation for any repairs you may have!

Seems to be worse over the winter. Plenty of stuff attacked in my shed but not the garage so far. Right that's it. The cats going in the garage at the weekend.

Jayes fluid is the key apparently, spray it round the floor and they won't come in.

A couple of years ago we had mice in the garage... I had a K1200GT at the time and on removing the pillion seat I discovered that the buggers had been eating away the filling!!! I was left thinking: 1 How did they manage to get there(and find the one little gap through the base)? 2. Maybe I took one off for a ride one day?
After making sure no more could get in I tried various "humane" devices... I got some poison after they all failed!

Wonder if house insurance would cover this. ?

Most policies will exclude damage by vermin...

It won't cost you any to ask your insurer though... at worst they will only say no.
