That's nice to know.
I have fitted pr,4 ,on mine now and a much better ride after the Anakee,s.

finding much the same - rear PR4 has lasted over 6000 miles on the S10 with a bit to go yet. Front PR3 has seen off a rear PR3 and this PR4 plus the grip is the best yet experienced on an ADV bike.

Just replacing Anakee 3 with PR4 The anakees were ok but feel awful now . I measured them today and there is 2mm on the front and 4mm on the back but they are well squared off, too much touring 2 up and not enough playing. I bet the PR4 will feel fantastic by comparison, cant wait to get them fitted

yes i will be fitting pr4 to my LC next. A CBF 1000 owner has done 6000 miles on their rear and it still has a good 3 to 4mm left is not squared!

Lots of life left on the old tyre yet, just a bit low in the centre tread but modern super sports tyres have no centre tread from new. Well done on the expected 14400 mile front tyre.

I did almost 8kmls on my rear ContiTrailAttack2, much better than Anakee3 which squares of really quickly ( original tyres on my bike), but can't wait to get this brand new CTA2 to wear down so I can get PR4s on both wheels.

LOve them

I also just changed from the Anakees to the PR4 Trails. Just did a 2600 mile trip through autobahns, twisties and way too much rain. The PR4s are awesome. I actually like the Anakees til I put these on. Didnt realize how loud the Anakees were until I switched to the PR4s. Definately going to stay with them for a while.

Cheers Terry, the only problem now might be getting some, local tyre place have rears on back order.

Try EBay or stick it out and wait, it will be worth it they are brilliant. They last longer the the spots lol

http://www.protyre.co.uk/ have six sets in the warehouse, well 5 as my name is on one pair (in R1150/Super Tenere sizes)

Gloucester branch: £270 the pair fitted to the bike. Not bad considering the Ebay price is about £240
