Michelin PR3 Trails?

I had PR3s on my old Kawasaki Versys. While they seemed to have infinite grip, they were very stiff. They made the ride far more harsh than than the original Dunlops and did cause buzz vibration that I didn't get before.

However, vibration from road surfaces not being damped should feel different from an out-of-balance wheel...

Mine are magnetic

PR3 Trails are brilliant tyres but I'm now on my third puncture !

They are either magnetic or so sticky that they pick up every bit of metal on the road or i am just bloody unlucky!

Funny that, I've had two rear punctures on nearly new (less than 500mile) PR3's. They are great in the wet though.

My mate is the same on his ! so it maybe the downside to these but yes bloody great in the wet and the dry for that matter

Had a set fitted to mine last week. £250, ride in and ride out. Very smooth running tyre with no noise or vibration. They stick like sh*t to a blanket in the wet or dry. Better tyre than I could have hoped for. Turns in well with no sence of drop. Someone said you could feel them going onto the edge, what a load of cobblers. If you can feel that, your horizontal and wont be recovering from the lean very soon. Get some, Im sure your likely to be impressed.

Just swapped my worn out PR3's with Metz Tourance nexts. Thought I'd give the Metz's a try but really regret not putting PR3's on again, the Metz's pick up on over banding, white lines etc & after 1000 miles of 2 up touring seem alarmingly squared off. They're good in the wet though but not as good as the PR3's.
