The rear arrived Friday, and has now been fitted. They honoured the price of £150, and that included new valves and balancing. So I am quite pleased with myself

Nah the stupid tw@t thought that after quoting me 150 for tyres and 170 for tyres and fitting that taking off fitting came to 158 quid. Thing is I did not think for a min that he was trying to do me just that he was a bit thick. Me I was just dead keen to leave to avoid feeling so sick, and ever keener to be shot of the tw@ts and go and check out the threads on the hub. Thanks goodness they are OK.Did you get the new treads for £150?
Now that is a bit like asking will I go to Princetown next year and wait 1 hour again for breakfast just to have it cold. Not likely, more likely to go round the corner and order from there. Will you be a return shopper?
Oh Yeah.Did they do an OK job mounting and balancing the tyres?
V all 149mph of it so that should do.Were they 'H' or 'V' rated?
Good luck there all the same as Simon E points out. Hence my don't trust 'em post on the aforementioned thread.I think that I'll get my tyres elsewhere!
Few more quid no problem I was just after the tyres in stock for a fair price. Besides I drove many mile on the b@stard M4 and M25 to get 'em so saving money was hardly top priority.Malky, I am somewhat surprised after the saving on fuel we helped you achieve on the ride down to Princetown I would've thought you could've lavished a bit more care on your pride and joy and perhaps pay a few quid more - but I guess once a Jock, always a Jock
Err. I thought you were of to a business meeting and not heading our way. Did you not spot Mr & Mrs Bakerman about 10:15 on Sunday ? Never mind I know where the bakery is.Still a bit p1ssed that you and the fabulous Baker boy & girl cleared off and left me on my lonesome at Princetown - especially after I had made arrangemenets with Mrs B on the Saturday - and then to hear you stuffed your face in the bakery!!! B@stards!!! Maybe, just maybe I rang the tyre shop and got them to put the Work Experience kid on your tyre change.
I was, in Malmesbury but getting there too early would mean Billy-no-mates would have no-one to play with so heading up with you guys I would've killed some more time - n'er mind I called on the chap who I bought my bike off in Dorchester instead - strange thing though my fuel consumtion suffered badly - must've been all those hills going North to Wiltshire!!!Malcolm said:
