As you have booked dry and sunny weather, I reckon I can get there for 10. Nice early start....

The Corner House breakfast for me!!!

Since you have arranged good weather, I will be there.

The Corner House Special breakfast looks nice.

Sorry Derek, I can't make it. Anna is poorly, taking her in to the DRI, Dr has got us patched straight into the Diabetes Clinic.

Can’t make it either - had a vaccination and feel like death! Have a great time everyone.

Just home, great breakfast meeting, thank you for organising it. 👍
It was lovely to see everyone and to meet some new people bith young and old; kudos to the young man who travelled up from Great Yarmouth and also to the elderly, handicapped Welsh chap from Sheffield way.

I meandered home via some back roads and called in at a couple of churches which were interesting in their contrast.

Stragglethorpe Church, beautiful in it's simplicity

And Brant Broughton, just 2 miles aware, the difference is stark.

*A local comedian changed his name to Boothby Graffoe with the ambition of moving to the village and calling his house Boothby Graffoe so if anyone sent him post it would be addressed to:-
Boothby Graffoe,
Boothby Graffoe,
Boothby Graffoe,
Lincoln.

Whether he was successful I don't know, but let's hope so. :D

Great set of photos ta. BTW, I resemble that remark.
Once over the M1 it was just lovely to be back in beautiful hilly countryside.

A quick stop off to have a look around Peak Rail at Darley Dale, before calling for an ice cream at Monsal Head.

I saw him at a pub comedy night in London about 20 years ago - he was very funny.
