A question for GSRich or anyone who may know the answer.

A number of us were in Scotland for the weeekend and prior to the trip 3 of us bought the Midland G7 radio along with the cable needed to connect it to the autocom 300.
We were of the opinion that with the 2 pin cable going into the radio that they would be charged from the bike via the Autocom but this was not the case.

Should they have charged or not or is there something we needed to do in order to make them charge from the bike?

regards

Rob

I've got the same but they do not charge this way. I think you can do it but need another part.

I plan to use rechargeable batteries.

The Midlands can not be charged via your Super Pro, you would need a Kenwood TK3201 to allow for this.

Rich, sorry for the hi jack...

Kenwood TK3201 (2)

I've got a pro 7 sport on my bike, SWMBO has the 200 kit

What do i need parts wise to bike power the radio's and PTT's

(I've got one long grey lead spare)

Also where do you fit the autocom on the 650 twin?
