I have been offered some mig 21 ejection seats and was wondering what people think they are worth. And a damaged mig29 engine !

I'm looking for a private jet. So if you know where I can buy the body of one thats no longer airworthy or flying let me know. I want to copy an idea from George Clarkes small spaces on ch 4.

For the life of me i cannot think as to how they would have any real value unless of course a chap has a couple of Migs that he needs spares for

I would like one though so keep us posted

I used to have a customer you had a Phantom ejector seat in his office. It's the one that saved his skin when he baled out of the thing:thumb2

Now that is a cool object to have with a pukka tale behind it.

The guy on channel 5.. salvage Hunters Drew something or other

He bought 2 and sold them at a very tidy profit in no time at all

So ,yes... it would appear there is a market for em

THESE GUYS refurb'd and auctioned a couple of Airbus seats at the Grand Designs Exhibition a couple of weeks ago. One went for £250.00 and the other £300.00

All sorts on the website - might give you some ideas! :augie

Ive been reading around the world of ejector seat and aircraft furniture and I realise we are all peasants ! If that seat fanum posted sells for that much I might be rich this time next year !

Well ive started stripping one today to get polished ect and I can say it is the most complicated mechanical thing I have seen, the level of engineering is outstanding some of the nuts and bolts are custom made to fit a specific location.
