MiGSel light bar NT

I'd definitely be interested, but I wouldn't know how to fit the switch and connecting the lights to the thingy, you know, that bit with the electricity in it.

It scares the crap out of me that they let you near gas then! :D

Actually it really is quite simple if you have someone supervising who knows what they are doing......

Light fitting

Fitting it all with Robs instructions is easy, it's getting the 8 inch fuse box out a 6 inch hole to get at everything thats difficult. Mr BMW's to blame for that one!

Anyone near me wants a hand with fitting, PM or e-mail (bring beer)

Bit slow off the mark with this but here goes...I've been selling the Motoswitch through the GS board since March and I have been asked on a lot of occasions where to get lamps and lightbars from, so I thought it would be a good idea if the whole package could be bought from one source. To get round the wiring issue the package will have a complete wiring harness, to suit the lights you buy, along with relays, connectors and cable ties.

The Motoswitch currently comes with a sample installation on disk, this will be extended so that there is a complete installation of the light bars, lamps and everything in the package.

There are only three connections to be made to the bikes wiring harness to install a Motoswitch, with the new harness that will rise to five (power wires to the batteries positive and negative).

I'm just waiting for the first shipment of light bars to arrive, as soon as they do I will get some costs together. It's likely that a FF50 driving light package (FF50 driving lamps, Migsels NT light bar, Motoswitch 2, wiring loom and everything else needed) will work out to just over £90 and then a few pounds for postage.

The idea behind this is just to make life easier for anybody interested in buying the whole bundle, the instructions will make life easier for people not confident with electrics. The wiring and relays are all sized to suit the loads they are driving and the cables are all terminated correctly.

The whole idea behind doing this is not to hijack the equipment being supplied by the other guys, I'm only supplying this equipment as a complete package. Alan (BigTrailrider) is supplies the Hella lights on their own a the Lightbars can still be bought from Migsel...It's all about choice. I know Alans invested a lot of money in the lights and sells them for such a small profit that most people wouldn't bother and Michels lightbars are so cheap I doubt if you could get them made for the price he sells them for.

If you can just give me give me a couple of days, while I wait for the bars to arrive, I will be able to get the prices and Photos sorted.

That works out well then

Sell my Remus and buy a light kit and still have some beer tokens left.

It would be nice to ride at night and be able to see where I'm going.

I'll look out for the queue.

OK then, here's the NT manual:
1) remove the two allen bolts under the beak
2) position the light bar under the holes,
with the top of the curve to the front, slotted holes to the back of the bike
3) put in two longer bolts (supplied with the light bar)
4) have a beer and think about how you're going to fit your lights and switch

Cheers :beerjug:

top of the curve? I'm even more confused now. :D

As I said before I am useless at these jobs but recokn I could fit this though.... as for wiring lights... i can feel a chill down the spine...

Now really confused?? Just want the light bar, got lights. come with wiring kit so only need the bar please. Whats the price for the bar including postage. Do you have them or not? Seems like a hell of a thread to just buy a bar for the lights.

Light bar

How do I buy one of your light bars Michel, now that Rob Farmer has stopped doing his all-in kit?

Do you do a light bar to fit the F650 GS?
No, I don't (yet;))

I could give it a go, if I get my hands on a 650GS. I'll look into it as soon as I find an opportunity.

Cheers,
Michel

Hey Rob how about we get you a stand at the BMF Show and you can spend all day fitting them for people how are not confident?
Only joking, but an idea.
Mate Bryn is well pleased with your work.
Cheers Brian.

Brian,

I went for a ride last week with a couple of guys who know you and your brother, one of the guys was called Dave and had ridden an 1150GS back for your brother.

If you fill me with enough beer I'll do anything :boozer :hammer can't imagine having many customers though.
