I have something that looks very similar to the second unit, only yellow. I had it a while, come the day I had to use it in anger it wouldn't work.
Now it wont charge. I'll take a look at these, I'm on the lookout for a replacement. I know of the Noco units.

You hear lots of reports about the small ones. They claim everything, but produce nothing. Many seem to be faulty. But because they are small and light they attract the likes of us. I have the smallest NOCO (I think it's the 20). It's chunky and a bit heavier than these but it certainly does the job. I've used it a few times (never on my own bikes/cars) and it's been spot-on. It started a 2 litre VW diesel very easily even on a winter's morning.
Just had a look on the website no mention of dimensions for a lot of them one 600 mah was 175 x 35 x 25 but how good it would be I don’t know .Google it, then post your findings on here, for the rest of them to see.

They are all bloody handy, I got a Noco GB40 two years ago, bloody thing was in the wife’s car boot when I needed it.

I haven’t used the one you mentioned, might be fine but I’ve never felt Clark’s stuff was that great. I have used the XP1 and it definitely works and holds charge.
It looks like the Clark’s might be a bit bigger, and the XP-1 fits under the seat of a dirt bike.
The XP1 has bit more power.
But you’re right, it’s a lot more cash. I got mine years ago when there was less choice.

Starts my diesel and my diddy 650.
If buying it, make sure you get the new model. The version 2 XP1 which has the digital display. That's the daddy. Huge more power than v1.
There are bigger models.

FWIW, the permanent battery tenders have just arrived today. Once fitted, if your battery won't deliver, plug and fire. No dismantling of panels etc (provided you've made the plug accessible!
p.s there are a lot of cheap immitations out there. Buyer beware.

I carry one about. Used in anger once. We drove in the XC90 to eurotunnel and as it was hot we had the doors open, and the A/c and cooling fans stayed on. After an hour, it wouldn't start to go to the train. With wife screaming, I hooked up this little box to the 2.5 5 cylinder diesel and it started. Best thing since sliced bread.

The difficult part is getting the crocodile clips on any car booster onto a bike battery. I made a set years ago with smaller clips on one end and just a bolt head for the big clips to grip onto but that kind of thing only helps when you’re at home.
Not sure on that. I have a Noco one in my toolbox and all I can say is that it works every time. I guess that is worth something?
I bought one on the recommendation of my mate in the auto trade. Very good bit of kit. It’s one of the smallest units and if once managed to start a VW transporter that was as dead as a dodo.
Whereas I had a unit from MachineMart previously and it was absolute garbage.
Buy cheap, buy twice.

New battery and relay fitted, bike explodes into life !!!
Seems to run much smoother at idle too.
Battery weighs nothing, just needs one foam packer to make up the space.
