Been discussing these mini jump starters on ADVRider Oz. I finally bit the bullet and bought one - $79. It's about as big as 2 packets of smokes and has the capacity and connectors to charge phones, laptops etc. To test it I discharged the battery in the 80g/s until there was no life at the starter button. Hooked up this little box and it spun up like a new battery :thumb :clap other blokes have reported starting 4 cylinder diesels no probs. With 5 bikes & 3 auto cars it'll be a handy addition and I'll carry it on the bike when travelling. They are advertised all over the place.

Nice test but would it not have been better just to disconnect the battery? JJH
