Hatchback,HATCH ..afraid :D it’s a BMW MINI ONE Hatch,
I am not in watches….:

I have a mini cooper, R53 it's got 120k on the clock bag loads of service history...
it's going in for it's annual MOT and service.... it's a classic....

not a One.... but it's really good fun to drive....

She is a good driver but that might be too much fun
Out of intern how much, please do PM me..cheers

Well been offered a really nice green Mini Cooper..1.5 D 2014 low miles
However the MOT reports as advisory brake pipes from front or back and back ones corroded and with greasy cover…
Not really sure , what do the experts say???

which peugeot engine is it? would be my question... then look for common faults on that unit

The 2014 Mini diesel (typically the 1.5L B37 or 2.0L B47 engine) is generally reliable but commonly suffers from Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) cooler leaks, timing chain stretch, diesel particulate filter (DPF) blockages, and oil leaks.

Check your specific vehicle's service history for strict adherence to oil change intervals, as this dictates the lifespan of the turbocharger and timing chain. To search for open manufacturer recalls or technical service bulletins (TSBs) affecting your vehicle, use the UK Government Vehicle Recall Check site by entering your registration number.

not the right model but the thoughts are pretty consistent

Not wishing to hijack this thread ( albeit in the wrong section), but so many vehicles these days have problems with things like timing chain wear/stretch, and other problems usually associated with oil change intervals, especially the cars which have a prolonged service interval of around 18,000 miles. For the cost of 5 litres of oil and a filter, I change our vehicles oil midway through a service interval to try and avoid future problems.
I know oil technology has improved over the years, but I’m sure these extended service intervals are purely for low running costs wrt servicing over the cars first few years to make them attractive to buyers and fleet operators.

Watching this thread and hunt with interest. It’s a novel way of hunting for a car. Who knows, it might start a trend.

Sorry guys and sorry PIP…….didnt see that….am a bit on the slow side…..
Maybe one of the janitors can move this to the general WANTED section…
Loosing the plot it’s called, :ROFLMAO:

Isn’t the 1.5 l diesel three cyclinder engine a BMW manufactured engine??
So they called now Mini Cooper , seems the ONE disappeared and are 2 nd generation engines which appear much better then the previous.
Not sure just reading a lot, but please correct me….
