I'm looking at getting either the Touratech, SW Motech or Wunderlich mirror extenders to try to get less of a view of my elbows. Anyone found any issue with clearance of the cruise control switches with either of these fitted please?

No problem with switch clearance on mine but if you have a bigger screen you might find the mirror stems foul the screen on full lock.

This doesn't give any problems apart from taking a bit of paint off the stems and is potentially a MOT failure.

Otherwise one of the best and cheapest mods you can buy.

Why is it a potential MOT failure?

Just asking like, not going to get any :-)

I got wunderlich extenders from Nippy on my GSA lc. No problems clearing the switch gear and no problems with my large Puig screen !

Thanks masterman21. I also have the large Puig touring screen but on a standard GS so hopefully should be fine!

Thanks mackap - which extenders have you got?

I have the Wunderlich extenders but not sure what make the screen is as it was on the bike when I bought it.

Hope they fit OK for you.

is it me or is 40 odd pounds for mirror extenders expensive.

They could be made in china for less than a pound?

It's not you! I've had much cheaper ones (which were perfectly ok) on other bikes. As soon as GS is mentioned though prices go up
