As anyone changed the mirrors on there f 650/800 gs,i find them to low,i wish they were a bit higher, any recomendations.

What's the problem with the mirrors? I've ridden bikes since the early 70's, and every one has given a blurred image of my elbows, my F800GS is no different?

I got the TT ones (was fed up of looking at my elbows) they also go out and up.

mind you are slightly increasing your overall width, but with panniers on, there a good guide my pans are 5mm out from each mirror:thumb2

now when I ride I can see the f800 girlies behind me :D

we'll be selling the double take mirrors in the next few days as 20 just landed today. They'll be £19.95inc VAT and available from adventure-spec
we do all the RAM bits as well so it should be a one-stop-shop!

The mirrors are good, ive been using one on my XR650R for a little while now. For a mirror on a dualsport/dirtbike it takes the prize. Adjustable with one hand on the move, i just grab it and move to the bars as i head onto a bumpy trail. Construction is tough, theyve taken a number of crashes so far and survived. They actually look pretty good in the flesh, very traditionally 'made in the USA' rugged in a jacked-up pickup truck style:thumb

speaking of Ram mounts I managed to snap one of mine the other night :blast
That's akin to snapping Excalibur in two or smashing up some Kryptonite.

I have done what cannot be done :eek
