Ok.... here i go...

10am.. Nice morning & bike calling ( 2009 Gsa ) so decide to head for the Welsh hills.... Take it easy up the A55 out of Chester, got new tyres, so being sensible.. In the fast lane doing 75 mph... honest... then it started.. lack of power, as if running out of petrol but it wasnt... then stalled.. managed to get to hard shoulder...wouldnt restart, like as if battery flat but it was nt......

Ok.. checked oil.... yes it had some, just had service 20 mls ago.

Call Bmw emeregency service..and wait by side of road for nearly 2 hrs

1.30.... Nice man collects me and my piece of sh.t....!!

2pm.... back home, piece of sh.t on way to dealer...

As you may be able to tell... NOT HAPPY.... had Kawasaki for over 20 yrs and never broke down.... is it me or am i unlucky.... Changed my first GS because of breakdown....( fuel relay and heavy oil usage )....

Well lets see what the diagnosis is this time......!!!!!

Come on Andy, now tell everyone the REAL reason you broke down..

Can anyone guess the problem.......here's a clue......it comes out of pumps and is very expensive................

cant be running out of fuel as its mentioned that when trying to restart its acting as if the battery is flat, thats got to be a battery/charging issue.
If it was as simples as no fuel the engine would still wizz over on the starter but with no vroom vroom noises!

I'll think you'll find he did.....and flattened the battery trying to start it....
