Does anyone know why my front brake makes a squeak/moaning noise under medium to heavy braking? All appears to be fine, pads are good, discs are clean.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Mine does that from time to time and usually a good jet clean sorts it out, don't know why though.
Be carefull not jetwashing directly into the bearings on your wheels. Ohh yes and be carefull when you drive off again by testing the brakes first.

Brake dust

i think its a build up of brake dust or you got a small animal (hedgehog perhaps) trapped in the caliper. The jet washing drowns/removes it.

You can stop the squeaking with a little copper grease on the back of the brake pads.

Thanks guys,
Small fury mammal now removed from brakes and told to go and live elsewhere.
